Student Cancellation, Transfer and Refund Policy
The Kelly Horne School of Massage and Aromatherapy is committed to providing high-quality professional training. To ensure courses can be planned effectively and places managed fairly, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings.
Booking Your Place
A place on a course is confirmed once the required deposit or full course fee has been received.
Student Cancellation
More than 28 days before the course starts
Deposits are non-refundable.
Any additional fees paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.
14–21 days before the course starts
Deposits remain non-refundable.
Up to 50% of any remaining course fees may be refunded at the school's discretion if the place can be filled.
Less than 14 days before the course starts
No refund will normally be given, as costs will already have been incurred and the place may be unlikely to be re-filled.
After the Course Has Started
Once a course has commenced, no refunds will be issued for missed sessions, withdrawal from the course, or non-attendance.
Transfers
If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances (such as illness or family emergency), please contact us as soon as possible. Where feasible, we may offer a transfer to a future course. Transfers are entirely at the discretion of the school and may incur an administration fee.
Missed Classes
Students are responsible for catching up on any missed teaching. Additional tutorial or catch-up sessions, where available, may be subject to an additional fee.
Cancellation by the School
The Kelly Horne School of Massage and Aromatherapy reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course due to insufficient enrolment, tutor illness, or circumstances beyond our control. In these circumstances, students will be offered either:
A transfer to a future course, or a
A full refund of all fees paid to the school
Refund of any deposits paid
The school is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by students, including travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.
Payment Plans
Students choosing to pay by instalments are entering into an agreement to pay the full course fee over the agreed payment period.
Payment plans are provided as a method of spreading the cost of the course and do not represent payment for individual teaching sessions.
If a student withdraws from the course, is unable to continue, or is removed from the course due to breaches of the Student Code of Conduct, the outstanding balance of the course fees will remain payable.
In exceptional circumstances, the school may, at its sole discretion, agree to an alternative payment arrangement.
Students enrolling on a course with an agreed payment plan are entering into a contract to pay the full course fee in line with the school.
Exceptional Circumstances
Any request for a refund outside this policy will be considered on an individual basis. Supporting evidence may be requested.
By enrolling on a course, students confirm that they have read, understood and accepted this Cancellation, Transfer and Refund Policy.
